[edit] Plot
Story centers on three losers: pessimistic Cheol-gu (Kim Chang-wan) who, in a genuinely funny sequence, unsuccessfully tries to hang himself until rescued by a big-breasted bimbo (lively Jeon I-da); Jae-hyeon (Im Chang-jeong), grandson of the local mortician; and dopey Dae-shik (Jeong Eun-pyo), son of a supermarket owner. Dae-shik wants to become an apprentice to Jae-hyeon's grandfather (Oh Hyeon-kyeong); only problem is that, thanks to a new hospital, no one has died in town for 10 years, so there's no way he can get any practical experience.
The three idlers form a loose group, ready to pounce whenever a potential cadaver comes over the horizon. Cheol-gu mournfully notes that people tend to die when he's around; Jae-hyeon, however, would rather open a video arcade and has his eyes on a beautiful young woman (Choe Kang-heui) who owns a flower shop up the street. -- Variety
